SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use, or disclosure of your information, at any time, by contacting us at margarita@greenthumbnaturals.com.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 – SITEGROUND & MERCHANT PROCESSING

Our store is hosted Square Online. Online payment gateway and merchant processing are supplied through Square. This provides us with the online tools that allow us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Squares data storage, databases. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Square Pay Privacy Notice

This Square Pay Privacy Notice (this “Privacy Notice”) describes how we collect, use and disclose the information we collect from you when you opt in to Square Pay (“Square Pay” or “Service”). Square Pay is a service owned by Square, Inc. and references to “us,” “we” or “our” in this Privacy Notice refer to Square, Inc. and its affiliates. By continuing to interact with our Services, you are consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Notice. Please read this Privacy Notice Carefully.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

When you opt in to Square Pay, we will collect and store the following types of information (“Saved Information”):

Account information, such as your full name, mobile phone number, and email address;

Payment information, such as your payment card information and billing address;
Shipping address and preferred shipping method

When we collect your Saved Information, we will use such information to recall checkout information on future transactions on any site powered by Square Online Store (“Square-Powered Site”). We will use this information for order support and processing, fraud detection, and payment authentication and processing for your future transactions.

WHEN AND WITH WHOM WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We may share certain Saved Information with the following categories of service providers and third parties:

Merchants with whom you’re transacting. When you use Square Pay to process a transaction with a merchant using a Square-Powered Site, we will provide that merchant with your full name, mobile phone number, email address, shipping address, last four digits of your payment card, and your preferred shipping method so that the merchant can process and fulfill your order. Please review the merchant’s privacy policy to understand how they use that information.

Affiliates and group companies. We will share your information with affilaites and group companies to provide you with the Service and to improve our products. For example, we may share your Saved Information internally to understand how you engage with Square company products to help make our services better for you and for everyone, and to help us build services tailored to your preferences. For residents of the European Economic Area (“EEA”), you data is processed by our Irish affiliate, Squareup International Ltd. To provide you with the Service, we may transfer your Saved Information to other regions outside the EEA, including to the United States. To ensure that your data is protected and properly transferred, we rely on intercompany agreements that are subject to the European Union Model Clauses, which govern international data transfers.

Our service providers, who help us provide, maintain and improve the Services.
Law enforcement and compliance authorities, so that we can comply with the law. We will disclose your Saved Information to such authorities, if we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary (i) to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental requests (e.g., from creditors, tax authorities, law enforcement agencies, etc.); (ii) to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights; (iii) to protect our or our customers’ rights or property, or the security or integrity of our services; (iv) for an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity; or (vi) to protect us.

Entities in connection with a business transfer or change of control. If we do or try to do a corporate merger, consolidation, or restructuring (including during due diligence and negotiation of these; the sale of substantially all of our stock, assets or both; the financing, acquisition, divestiture, or dissolution of all or a portion of our business; or other corporate change.

We do not, and will never disclose, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your Saved Information to third parties for interest-based advertising and marketing of their own products or services.

WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION WHEN YOUR SQUARE PAY ACCOUNT IS TERMINATED OR YOU OPT OUT OF SQUARE PAY.

Your access to Square Pay may be terminated as explained in the Square Pay Terms of Service. If your Square Pay account is terminated or if you opt out of Square Pay, we will unlink and remove all of your Saved Information within a reasonable period of time. If you have completed order transactions on Square-Powered Sites, we will retain your Saved Information in order to provide services to the merchant with whom you’re transacting and to comply with applicable law.

HOW WE SECURE YOUR SAVED INFORMATION

Square is committed to safeguarding your Saved Information with the highest security standards. Our payment processing systems adhere to the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), Level 1.

We take reasonable measures, including administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, to protect your information from loss, theft, and misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Nevertheless, the internet is not a 100% secure environment, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of the transmission or storage of your information. We hold information about you both at our own premises and with the assistance of third-party service providers.

ACCESSING AND CONTROLLING YOUR SAVED INFORMATION

You retain the rights to your Saved Information at all times. You may access, delete, amend, or correct your Saved Information at all times, but we reserve the right to ask for additional information or documentation to verify your identity when making such requests.

To remove your Saved Information, click the “Opt Out of Square Pay” link at the bottom of the checkout page. You may also opt out of Square Pay anytime by clicking here.

You can modify your Saved Information the next time you check out on a Square-Powered Site. After successfully verifying your identity by entering the verification code, you can modify your payment card information by selecting “Use a different card” on the checkout page. To modify any other Saved Information, select “Edit” in the appropriate section of the checkout page.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

SECTION 6 – SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

SECTION 7 – COOKIES

COOKIES AND OTHER SIMILAR AUTOMATED TECHNOLOGIES

Digital cookies and similar technologies help us make our services better to use by doing things like analyzing how you use our services so we can make them more useful to you, giving you a more personalized experience, and making ads to you work better.

When you interact with our Square profile portal, or open emails we send you when you use our Buyer Features or Square Pay, we obtain certain information using automated technologies, such as cookies, web server logs, web beacons, and other technologies. A “cookie” is a text file that websites send to a visitor’s computer or other internet-connected device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser. A “web beacon,” also known as an internet tag, pixel tag or clear GIF, is a tiny graphic image that may be used in our Square profile portal or emails.

We use these automated technologies to collect your device information, internet activity information, and inferences as described above. These technologies help us to:

Remember your information so you do not have to re-enter it;
Track and understand how you use and interact with our Square profile portal;
Tailor our online services to your preferences;
Measure how useful and effective our services and communications are to you; and
Otherwise manage and enhance our products and services.
We set some of these automated technologies ourselves, but others are set by third parties who deliver services on our behalf. For example, we may use other companies’ web analytics services (described in the “Third-Party Analytics Services” section), which use automated technologies to help us evaluate how customers use our websites.

Your browser can alert you when cookies are placed on your device, and how you can stop or disable them via your browser settings. Please note, however, that without cookies all of the features of our Square profile portal may not work properly. If you use a mobile device, you can manage how your device and browser share certain device data by adjusting the privacy and security settings on your mobile device. THIRD-PARTY ANALYTICS SERVICES

We use other companies as service providers to help us analyze our site, track metrics, and advertise to you. These service providers generally promised us under contract to keep data private but have their own privacy policies that you should be aware of.

We may use third-party analytics service providers to help us with our Square profile portal or Square Pay, such as Google Analytics, BugSnag, and Crashlytics. The analytics providers that administer these services use technologies such as cookies, web beacons, and web server logs to help us analyze your use of the portal. We may disclose your site-use information (including IP address) to these analytics providers, and other service providers to help us figure out how you and others use our Square profile portal.

Certain web browsers allow you to instruct your browser to send Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals to websites you visit, informing those sites that you do not want your online activities to be tracked. At this time, our Square profile portal is not designed to respond to DNT signals or similar mechanisms from browsers.

SECTION 8 – AGE OF CONSENT

By using this site, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

SECTION 9 – CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
